Other Description: Welcome to Duck Mountain Provincial Park. Duck Mountain Provincial Park is loved for its rolling hills, well-stocked lakes, and boreal forest setting. With accommodations ranging from wilderness camping to electric campsites and two Camp-Easy yurts to a lodge with modern cabins and townhouses, Duck Mountain offers in-park accommodation for every season.
This family-friendly park offers a wide-range of recreational opportunities. Fish for pike, walleye, or perch in spring-fed Madge Lake, or try one of the various other lakes found in and around the park. Bike a section of the Trans Canada Trail or sample one of the other self-guided or interpretive trails.
Saskatchewan Parks is auctioning off a Provincial Park Land Lease. Please make sure you read the terms of the auction (located below) carefully before bidding. Pre-Registration is required for participants.

Utilities:
Utilities such as telephone, water, sewer pump-outs, etc. will be the Successful Bidder's responsibility. If applicable, water distribution systems must meet the requirements of The Ministry of Health or Water Security Agency, and PCS.
Water: Park water point adjacent to the lot, within 50 feet – no direct hook up
Gas: Natural Gas lines are in close proximity,
Power: available at site with service from the street to the cottage,
Sewer: Holding tank required,
Foreshore Permit:
Available with the location; Must be applied for at the Duck Mountain Park Office.
Damages or Important Information:
An approved permanent dwelling must be constructed on this vacant lot; the Lessee will provide all the necessary building plans in order to obtain an approved building permit. The building permit, once approved, is valid for two years and a new dwelling must be erected within this time. No further assignment of lease transfer will be permitted without an approved dwelling constructed on the cottage lot.
The cottage lot will be awarded "as is"- some upgrades may be required to bring the cottage lots up to an acceptable state (same requirements as any other lot). The cottage property shall be maintained in an acceptable state, as set out in the Provincial Park Land Lease Agreement and Provincial Park Cottage Subdivision Development Directives.
Everyone in the park requires a holding tank for sewer and water purposes, there are no direct hook ups.

There are over 2,100 cottages located on leased land within 11 provincial parks and one recreation site which are an integral and historic part of the provincial parks system. Cottage lessees hold a 21-year renewable lease and pay fees on an annual basis for the use of park land and the services that they receive. PCS operates under The Parks Act and works in partnership with a broad range of stakeholders and clients.
