Specifications for 3130 Saskatchewan Drive
For the proponent bidding on the removal and hauling of the building located at 3130 Saskatchewan Drive, the City of Regina will require that the following specifications be followed:
HBMA - See attached Hazardous Building Materials Assessment. Proponent is to follow all recommendations in report regarding abatement of hazardous building materials. Proponent is to submit a plan to deal with all know hazardous materials identified in the HBMA report.
Insurance – the proponent will need to provide proof of insurance. The insurance coverage details are included in the attachment.
Demo Permit – the proponent will be responsible for paying for a demolition permit. The City will apply for the permit on behalf of the proponent.
Traffic Plan – proponent is to submit a traffic plan.
Truck route - proponent is to submit a truck hauling route from the property to the landfill site.
Fence – proponent is to erect a 1.8m construction fence around the building.
Security – Proponent is to ensure that the site is left safe and secure at all times.
Safety plan – Proponent is to submit a site safety plan.
OH&S Regulations – proponent is to ensure that all OH&S regulations are followed and that they keep a copy of the regulations on site.
Fall Arrest – proponent is responsible for all fall arrest training. If required, proponent is to provide fall arrest training certificates.
Utilities – The City of Regina will shut off all utilities.
Operator certificates – Proponent is to provide all operator certificates.
Remove Sump Pit – proponent is to remove existing sump pit.
Foundations - proponent is to remove all foundations.
Site Condition – once all demolition is complete, proponent is to ensure that site is left in good condition. Site must be leveled, and all debris removed.
Deposit – the proponent will be required to provide a $5,000 deposit. This money will be refunded once the site is completely cleaned to the standards of the City of Regina.
