| Property is not currently occupied; cabin has not been winterized, the fireplace heater is on supplying the only heat at this time with in the cabin, no visible water line damage, purchasing the unfinished cabin at Buyer's risk. |
|
Owner's Remarks - "The cabin was built by a Canadian Armed Forces Veteran family who unfortunately could not afford to finish the cabin due to the economic state and would love if someone who is willing and able to finish this project, would be willing to put love into finishing it. The siding, deck as well as some of the interior was milled by owner from trees locally sourced."
|
| Owner's Remarks concerning the well - "There is a casing that goes down to where water was found and it is capped on the bottom. There are slits in the side of the casing at the bottom in which there is then pea gravel placed around that portion of the casing. This allows water as available to flow into the casing and then to be pumped out and utilized.
The buyer would need to remove the end cap and talk to a plumber about having the hand pitcher installed (the concrete pad above will allow them to have masonry work done to have an aesthetically appealing base under the pitcher pump.) and then after the pitcher pumped is installed it would be wise to then have the well water tested for their intended use if gardening to ensure it is suitable for their intended use.
I believe a foot valve on the bottom with the proper line going up to the hand pitcher pump and it being primed would be suitable however they would need to consult their plumber of choice.
Thank you in advance for your time and I hope this information that is accurate to the best of my knowledge is helpful." |
