Welcome to Meadow Lake Provincial Park.Spanning more than 1,600 sq. km and featuring more than 20 lakes, rivers and streams, Meadow Lake Provincial Park is one of the largest provincial parks in Canada. A favorite destination for many vacationers, this park offers excellent fishing and water-based opportunities, some of the best beaches in Saskatchewan and the Boreal Trail, one of the premier hiking destinations in Canada.

Seek out the area's wildlife and vegetation by venturing out on one of the park's well-groomed hiking trails, or, enjoy some relaxation by frequenting one of the park's many picnic areas.

Saskatchewan Parks is auctioning off a Provincial Park Land Lease. Please make sure you read the terms of the auction (located below) carefully before bidding. Pre-Registration is required for participants.

Size of Lease: 12,744.86 Square Feet (0.29 Acres),

Approximate Annual Lease Fees: $2,400 - $2,600

Fees are subject to change on an annual basis.

Water: None

Gas: None

Power: available at site with service from the street to the cottage,

Sewer: Holding tank required,

Foreshore permit available with the location of this lot,

Damages or Important Information:

An approved permanent dwelling must be constructed on this vacant lot; the Lessee will provide all the necessary building plans in order to obtain an approved building permit. The building permit, once approved, is valid for two years and a new dwelling must be erected within this time. No further assignment of lease transfer will be permitted without an approved dwelling constructed on the cottage lot.

Everyone in the park requires a holding tank for sewer and water purposes, there are no direct hook ups.

There are over 2,100 cottages located on leased land within 11 provincial parks and one recreation site which are an integral and historic part of the provincial parks system. Cottage lessees hold a 21-year renewable lease and pay fees on an annual basis for the use of park land and the services that they receive. PCS operates under The Parks Act and works in partnership with a broad range of stakeholders and clients.
